In order to enabling the office to achieve its vision (working towards integrating the efforts in education and introducing Islam) following strategic goals have been identified to be achieved in the best possible way:

  • Introducing Islam with wisdom and good teaching
  • Trying to correct the host society's worldview and understanding of Islam and Muslims
  • Conducting intra-Muslim community as well as inter-communities dialogue, following the guidelines set by Makkah Appeal and giving the priority to the ideas the said Appeal contains.
  • Making the MWL London Office emerge as an authentic point of contact to offer advice and suggestions to the British policymakers in the fields pertinent to the interests of the Muslim community and taking initiatives whenever needed.
  • Encouraging the Muslim community to participate positively in activities held nationally while preserving their religion, identity and culture.
  • Insisting on Muslims' right to living in accordance with the teachings of their religion and exercising their religious duties unhindered.
  • Identification and rectification of the flaws crept into the Islamic studies curriculum taught in the British schools.
  • Confronting and checking the extremism among the Muslim community.
  • Caring for the reverts to Islam
  • Improving the office image and explaining its programmes to individuals as well as organisations from the public and private sectors and the members of the civil society.

We would like to announce that the Goodge Street Mosque in London thanks Imam Ajmal Masroor for his voluntary services he rendered to the mosque during past many years. The mosque, in turn, has offered him a number of assistance and respected him for his profound help in achieving the mosque’s vision: integrating efforts in education and introducing Islam and serving the community. The mosque has provided him for more than a year, and free of cost, with the facilities to open an office for his Barefoot for family consultations. The mosque has also supported him to attend conferences in and out of the UK for the sake of community and national interest. Read more…

On Saturday 29th September 2018, Turning point academy held its annual meeting.

Lauren Booth, an English broadcaster, journalist and activist was guest of honour and she has talked about her journey to Islam and as well as about her book – “FINDING PEACE IN THE HOLY LAND A BRITISH MUSLIM MEMOIR”

During the event gifts were distributed to the children.
