The Royal Embassy of Saudi Arabia is deeply saddened by the tragic bus crash that claimed the lives of six British nationals whilst taking part in the Umrah pilgrimage.
HRH Prince Mohammed bin Nawaf, Saudi Ambassador to the United Kingdom, responded immediately to the request of the Foreign and Commonwealth Office and instructed Embassy officials to assist the victims’ families in any way possible.
The Relevant Authorities in Saudi Arabia are working to help those also injured in the crash. The injured are being treated at the King Fahad Hospital in Medina.
Our deepest condolences, at this time, are with the families and friends of those who lost their lives.
