Terms and conditions:

The Candidate:

  1. Must be fully memorizing the Holy Quran by
  2. and fully conversant with the Tajweed rules.
  3. Has to be a Male
  4. Should not be over 25 years.
  5. Has never participated with previous Dubai International Holy Quran competitions.
  6. Should be a holder of British passport.
  7. The candidates have to wear his national costume.

The organizer is hereby obliged for the candidate and his companion for the followings:

  1. Issue the entry visa to the United Arab Emirates.
  2. Providing an economy return airline ticket for the candidate (and his companion if applicable).
  3. The candidate has be escorted by one of his guardians or relatives, if he is under the age of 14 years (by Ramadan 1441 (Ramadan 2020) or he has a recognisable medical condition that requires him to be accompanied.
  4. Full board hotel accommodation, transportation during the event.

Documentation requirements for the Candidate and his companion (if applicable):

  1. A copy of passport
  2. Two recent passport photos.

Ensure that the contestant is committed to wearing the national dress of the country he represents

This Ramadan, the regional office of Muslim World League in London is celebrating five hundred thousand iftar meal (Ramadan meals) on the occasion of its 24th anniversary of Public Iftar Project in London.

The regional office of Muslim World League in London distributes more than 30,000 iftar meals each Ramadan for the last 24 years in London.

This year commemorates Muslim World League 24th anniversary for public Iftar project, offering iftar meals on a daily basis throughout the holy month of Ramadan.

Dr Ahmad Makhdoom, the Regional Director of MWLLO, explains that; this project initially started on Ramadan 1995 delivering 650 iftar meals per day to Muslim World League mosque visitors and nearby university students such as UCL and SOAS and members of the community. Read more…
