Statement

Date: October 2, 2025

The Muslim World League London Office expresses deep sorrow and heartfelt condolences to the families and community affected by the tragic attack on the Heaton Park Hebrew Congregation Synagogue in Manchester.

This horrific incident, occurring on Yom Kippur, a sacred day for the Jewish community, is an affront to the values of peace, humanity, and coexistence that we uphold. We unequivocally condemn all forms of terrorism and violence, which are antithetical to the teachings of Islam and humanity at large.

We are also profoundly concerned about the rise of hate speech affecting everyone across Britain. The danger of hate speech is inspiring evil people to commit crimes and spreading fear everywhere.

The Muslim World League London Office renews its commitment to fostering harmony, promoting interfaith dialogue, and supporting efforts to build safe and inclusive communities in Britain and beyond.
