Today at 12 noon, the Muslim World League London Office is holding a discussion meeting in participation with
the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women. The meeting will bring awareness of issues regarding empowerment and rights of women and will explore the Charter of Makkah to ensure how to protect and empower women from an Islamic prospective.
UK officials from the House of Lords, the British Parliament, Camden County Council, UK Muslim Women leaders, educators and community leaders will participate in the discussion. Several women leaders from Saudi Arabia will join the discussion too.
